What this guide covers
HMRC is the connection required for filing. WhatsApp and Stripe are optional tools for faster record capture and client payments.
1. Check your personal details
Open Account and review your name, email address, National Insurance number, and subscription. These details help SimpleTaxFlow identify the correct taxpayer and keep important notices attached to the right account.
Open Account2. Connect HMRC
Choose HMRC under Providers and follow the secure HMRC sign-in and consent flow. When you return, allow SimpleTaxFlow to load your businesses and obligations before preparing a submission.
Manage HMRC connection3. Choose optional ways to work
Connect WhatsApp if you want to record transactions and ask for summaries by message. Connect Stripe if you want to send invoices with online payment links. You can use the web application without either connection.
Compare the workflows4. Confirm your first business
Check the businesses returned by HMRC and open each one to review its trading name, accounting period, and quarterly reporting settings. Do not create duplicate records for the same HMRC business.
