What this guide covers

Invoicing is part of the record-keeping flow, not a separate admin chore.

02

1. Connect Stripe if you take online payments

In Account, connect Stripe before creating invoices. This lets you use payment links and receive status updates in the Invoices workspace.

See provider setup
03

2. Create a draft in plain English

In WhatsApp, send a request such as “Invoice ABC Ltd £600 for consulting due in 14 days”. Review the draft before confirming it should be sent.

3. Manage the invoice in the workspace

Use Invoices to send, resend, sync, mark paid where appropriate, and see the payment status. Keep the customer, amount, and service description accurate.

4. Check paid income appears in your records

When Stripe confirms payment, SimpleTaxFlow can record the paid invoice as income. Review it in Activity as part of your regular record check.
